How to reach Verona

By Car

Verona is at the intersection of the north-south A22 Brenner motorway and the east-west A4 Serenissima motorway
  • From Milan: From the A4 motorway, exit at the Verona Sud tollgate and proceed towards the underpass. Continue straight for about one kilometer (towards the city center). After passing under the railway bridge, you will reach the intersection of Corso Porta Nuova. At the intersection, turn right onto Via Franco Faccio, then keep left onto Via del Fante, which continues into Via dell’Autiere. Continue until you reach Ponte San Francesco. After crossing the bridge, continue along Lungadige Galtarossa and then Lungadige Porta Vittoria. Turn onto Via San Francesco (the first street on the right) and go to the end of the street on the right, where you will find Viale dell’Università. You have arrived at the Polo Zanotto.

  • From Venice, From the A4 motorway, exit at the Verona Est tollgate and proceed towards Verona/ city center. Drive along Viale del Lavoro and continue onto Viale Verona. After passing the overpass, keep to the right. Enter the roundabout and follow the signs for Verona / city center, continuing straight on SS 11 through Via Unità d’Italia, which then continues into Viale Venezia (about 2 km). After driving the entire length of Viale Venezia, stay in the left lane at the traffic light and turn onto Via Francesco Torbido. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Lungadige Porta Vittoria, then onto Via San Francesco (the first street on the right). Go to the end of the street, and on the right, you will find Viale dell’Università. You have arrived at the Polo Zanotto.

  • From Brennero – Bologna, take the Florence-Siena towards Siena and continue to Grosseto.

  • From Bologna, take the A1 towards Florence, exit at Florence-Impruneta, take the Florence-Siena expressway, and continue on road 223 to Grosseto.

By Plane

Verona’s airport is VALERIO CATULLO. It is about 12 km from the city center and is connected to the city by the western ring road.

From Verona Airport, shuttle buses take about twenty minutes to reach Porta Nuova railway station, from where you can reach your destinations in the city by foot, taxi, or bus.
