Best Oral Communication

It will be assigned to a young Ophthalmologist (provided he/she is under 40 and is a presenter or co-author of a submitted selected abstract). S.I.C.S.S.O. is glad to offer the opportunity to the winner of the best presentation, 1 or 2 week observership at The Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the major and prestigious hospital for the eye care in Europe.
The selected abstract presenter will have the chance to observe clinical activities and/or other activities as applicable (cornea and anterior segment surgery) for educational purpose in the Moorfields Eye Hospital: 1.000 euros will be awarded to support the travel and stay expenses.

Best Poster – selection criterium: scientific quality

It will be assigned to a young Ophthalmologist (provided he/she is under 40 and is a presenter or co-author of a submitted selected abstract). S.I.C.S.S.O. is glad to offer the opportunity to the winner 1 or 2 week observership at the IMO – Instituto Microcirugia Ocular in Barcelona. 1.000 euros will be awarded to support the travel and stay expenses.

Best Poster – selection criterium: originality

It will be assigned to a young Ophthalmologist (provided he/she is under 40 and is a presenter or co-author of a submitted selected abstract). S.I.C.S.S.O. is glad to offer the opportunity to the winner 1 or 2 week observership at the Clinica degli Occhi Sarnicola in Grosseto (Italy). 500 euros will be awarded to support the travel and stay expenses.
