Giovanni Alessio

Prof Giovanni Alessio, graduated in Medicine in 1981/1982 at University of Bari where, in 1987,
He became specialist in “Ophthalmology” with highest honors .
Since 01.14.1991 he became Technician VIII at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University of Bari and perform research, and clinical care in the same clinic.
Since July 16, 2001 he was confirmed as researchers in the scientific sector MED 30 Faculty of Medicine at University of Bari.
In 23.12.2002 he became Associate Professor SS MED30 in Ophthlmilogy, at the same University. Since 12/23/05 he was confirmed Associate Professor.
Since 2006-2007 he was Director of the School of Specialization in Ophthalmology at the University of Bari. Since 1 November 2014 he is the Director of Operative Unit of Ophthalmology, University of Bari (445/2000).
Since January 2016 he is Professor of Ophthalmology at the “A. Moro” University of Bari E ‘vice president of Società Oftalmologica Meridionale and partner of the most prestigious national and internazioni Society of Ophthalmology.
Author of more then 200 publications and speaker at many national and international conferences.
