  • The closest airport to the congress venue.

  • Located just 7 km from Cagliari city center.

  • Offers both domestic and international flights, with additional seasonal routes during spring and summer.

International Connections to Cagliari

Cagliari is directly connected to many European cities. If you are flying from outside Europe, you will most likely connect via Rome Fiumicino (FCO) or Milan Malpensa (MXP), both of which have daily flights to Cagliari.

From the United States and Overseas

  • A direct flight from the U.S. to Cagliari operated by Delta Airlines is expected to launch soon. Official details will be announced in 2026.
  • Until then, the most convenient route is via Rome (FCO) or Milan (MXP), both served by multiple daily transatlantic flights.

Domestic Connections within Italy

The Region of Sardinia ensures guaranteed daily flights (continuità territoriale) from mainland Italy.

  • In 2025 these routes were operated by Aeroitalia.
  • In 2026, they are expected to be operated by ITA Airways.

STEP 2 – From Cagliari Airport to the Venue

Taxi

  • Journey time: 15–20 minutes
  • Approximate fare: €20–25
  • Taxis are available at the arrivals terminal 24/7.

Private Transfers

  • Pre-booked private shuttles are available for individuals and groups.
  • Recommended for late-night arrivals or for participants traveling in delegations.

Train + Taxi/Bus

  • The airport railway station connects to Cagliari Centrale in just 7 minutes (€1.30 ticket).
 
  • From Cagliari Centrale:

   – Taxi to T-Hotel: 10 min. (€10–12)

   – Bus lines M or 5/11 stop near the        hotel (approx. 15–20 minutes).

 

Car Rental

  • All major international rental companies operate at Cagliari Airport.
  • Driving time to T-Hotel: approx. 15 minutes.
