AWARDS TO OPHTHALMOLOGISTS
UNDER 40:
ORAL PRESENTATION
- The presenter has to be under 40 years old
- Papers must be exhibited in English language
- Presentations must be in POWER POINT 16:9 format and they must have a maximum duration of 6 min
- Presentations must be uploaded at the speaker ready room (slide center) not later than 2 hours before “showtime”.

MOST ORIGINAL PRESENTATION:
“CORNEA: FUNDAMENTALS, DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT”, Mark J. Mannis, Edward J. Holland, Elsevier
A panel of experts will evaluate each paper for its scientific relevance, methodology, presentation time, exposition and finally, for its originality.
The winners will be awarded during the Awards Ceremony on Saturday 29th. The absence of authors of the winning poster during this session, will be considered as a withdrawal from the contest.
POSTER PRESENTATION
- The presenter has to be under 40 years old
- Posters must be exhibited in English language.
- Posters must be 90 cm horizontally (Base) and 90 cm vertically (Height)
- Posters must be attached by 10.00 am on Thursday, June 27th, in the poster area. If you cannot respect this deadline, please, contact us by May 30th.
Presenters are free to design their poster in any way they wish, however English language and dimensions are mandatory. Please, be aware that no printing service will be available at the Convention Center.

MOST ORIGINAL POSTER:

A panel of experts will evaluate each paper for its scientific relevance, methodology, presentation format, and finally, for its originality.
Poster authors are kindly requested to stand next to their poster during the presentation, in order to answer to possible questions, especially for those who are candidates for the S.I.C.S.S.O. award for ophtalmologists under 40 y.o.
Poster presentation date and time will be provided as soon as possible.

BEST VIDEO
How can I participate in the awards contest?
- The video must be in MP4 format, resolution 1280×720, aspect ratio 16:9
- The maximum duration of videos must be 4 min
- Videos must be uploaded in the submission form
- No Audio. Videos will be displayed in touch screen monitors in the exhibition area throughout the congress.
A Special award ceremony is in store.
The absence of authors of a winning video during this ceremony will be considered as a withdrawal from the contest.
