Teatro degli Industri
Teatro degli Industri was founded in 1819 after the establishment of Accademia degli Industri. Even if it was not a wide one, Teatro degli Industri has always been an essential place for the cultural life in town.
Prose, ballet and other shows has been performed all along 19th Century until the theater has been restored to add seats with a grand reopening in 1892 when Pietro Mascagni attended a performance of his Cavalleria Rusticana.
After the Accademia degli Industri sold the theater to the local administration who used it as a cinema until the end of 20th century, Teatro degli Industri has been renewed again to its current appearence: an extremely beautiful theater “all’Italiana” with comfortable seats and a “full of history” atmosphere.
